James Ignatowich

RANKED TOP 3 PICKLEBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD

Currently ranked as a Top 3 pickleball player in the world, Selkirk Pro James Ignatowich is one of the most recognized and decorated names in professional pickleball.

James Ignatowich was raised in Darien, CT but now currently lives in Boca Raton, FL. A tennis standout, he was once ranked top 5 in the US National High School Recruiting Rankings. Ignatowich attended Vanderbilt University to play collegiate tennis for two years.

  Thanks to his natural athleticism and aggressive play style, he quickly shot to the top of the PPA's rankings and in February 2023, he claimed his first PPA titles at the Indoor National Championships in men’s pro singles and mixed pro doubles with fellow Team Selkirk’s Catherine Parenteau. 

In 2022, he was drafted for the Ranchers for the Major League Pickleball Newport Tournament who went on to take the $100,000 prize. He now currently plays for the Dallas Pickleball Club.
